I spent the best part of fifteen years in the motor trade, working my way up from taking bookings on the phone to senior customer service at dealerships for Jaguar Land Rover, Honda and BMW. That world taught me a lot: how to talk to people, how to earn their trust, and how much a business lives or dies by the impression it makes.
It was during a stint with a roofing merchant that things shifted. I built their website, helped with their marketing, and grew their social presence from scratch. Watching a trade business go from invisible to finding real customers online, that clicked for me. I could see the gap: brilliant tradespeople doing great work, let down by a website that looked like it was built in 2009 or didn't exist at all.

I grew up surrounded by cars and animals... My dad was a private luxury car salesman, my mum spent her career in motor industry finance, and between them there was always a horse, a dog, or an engine somewhere nearby. Not much has changed. These days you'll find me on a motorbike at the weekend or at home in Surrey with my girlfriend and our two dogs. The car obsession never really left either.
